If I did not have my positive experience with Mark’s attributes, I could imagine an unbalanced business relationship where one partner overpowers or underserves the business relationship resulting in bitterness. Throughout the years, I did not blindly pledge allegiance to Mark out of convenience. To prove this point, I was convinced by a tenant to switch from Mark to another unnamed realtor agent for handling a new lease for my property under the premise of providing simple property management on top of realty services. This unnamed realtor demonstrated significantly less competency than Mark in areas ranging from simple detail-oriented contract prep requiring rework, documented conflicts of interests (renting their own property over my own in the same neighborhood area), and simply managing ME as the landlord to provide HIS tenant maintenance services (whatever happened to the property management services?). Ultimately, I learned my lessons and quickly resolved to return back to Mark when the time was right. The moment I executed my decision, almost immediately I realized that Mark was the right choice with his rapid response to my requests (comps, contract, listing, photography, etc.) within the same business week. I believe that fundamentally, Mark possesses high moral standards demonstrates a clear understanding of ethics, and correlates the value of the customer’s ultimate satisfaction with his professional reputation in the industry vs simply making a commission.
Our recent purchase was the second home for which we have partnered with Mark for our realtor needs.
